Grandma's Goulash

This dish might be my favorite childhood dinner, when grandma made this it was a good night!
Grandma would make a big pot of these and all 5 of us would dish up bowls full, I don't remember there ever really being that much leftover everyone loved it so much. 

Ingredients:
1 1/2 lb hamburger
salt and pepper to taste
1 med onion 
32 oz tomato juice
elbow pasta

Grandma's recipe card, I love that she writes different ingredients all on the same card and spells Goulash Goolish.

Chop onion

Slowly fry together hamburger, onion, salt and pepper

Once meat is browned add tomato juice and cook a couple of minutes, meanwhile cook pasta according to package

Mix cooked and drained pasta together with hamburger and tomato juice. You can add a little more tomato juice if it is to dry.
add a little sugar to cut the acid of the tomato juice.
