Diane's Easy Breakfast Casserole

This recipe came from my Aunt Diane and I thought it would be the perfect thing to take to work Halloween morning, something protein filled and not at all sugary! This recipe was indeed easy and the perfect thing to start out on a day that is notoriously filled with sugar. 

Ingredients:
1 tube breakfast sausage - cooked
10 eggs
4 cups milk 
1/2 tsp pepper
2 tsp salt
1 loaf French bread
3 cups shredded cheese 
1 package of mushrooms

Fry up sausage

when sausage is almost done cooking add in mushroom and cook until mushrooms are cooked

Cube loaf of french bread into cubes

I made two casseroles in 9x13 pans, divide bread cubes between two pans

divide sausage and mushrooms between 2 pans, mix with bread cubes

mix in 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese into each pan

whisk together 5 eggs and 2 cups of milk, 1/4 tsp pepper and 1 tsp salt

pour egg mixture over 1 of the casseroles, repeat for the other one
Cover casseroles and place in fridge over night to bake in morning

bake at 350 for 45 minutes
